Brand experience stores

The Challenge

Bullards bullards as a brand was refreshed in 2015, paving the way for the new direction of the brand focusing on the production of bullards using local ingredients from it’s home in Norwich. The brand’s focus was pop up sampling stations and e-commerce and were looking to expand their physical retail presence by opening a series of “experience” stores throughout the country.

The Approach

We knew that we had to make the retail sampling ritual the most important part of the store experience. We spent time getting to know the brand and helping define the steps the consumer would take to learn, discover and experience the unique ingredients & flavours each product had to offer. The next step was to scale this strategy across all of the new store locations.

The Solution

We designed and built new stores across a time period of 4 months. Each store needed to follow the new brand DNA that we created to create consistency nationally. The new stores were built in the following locations;

Chantry Place (Norwich)
Jarrold’s pop up (Norwich)
Westfield White City (London)
Canary Wharf (London)
Covent Garden (London)
